About Centric Works
Centric Works is an informational guide about consumer security software, written for people in Australia who want to understand the category before they spend anything on it. It is published by MSMM-ZLK s.r.o., a company registered in Bělehradská 185/5, Nusle, 140 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic (company number 17819580, VAT CZ17819580).
Who it is written for
Household and small-business readers in Australia: a person deciding whether a paid security subscription is worth it at all, a parent working out what a child's device actually needs, and a reader who has already bought and is trying to work out what they paid for.
How it is funded
Affiliate commission on one product: TotalAV. If a reader follows a link and subscribes, the vendor pays MSMM-ZLK s.r.o. a fee. The arrangement — what is paid, on what event, and what it does and does not decide — is set out on the affiliate disclosure page. That payment buys a link and nothing else: it does not change the order pages appear in, it does not remove criticism, and the one product it covers is written about in depth for exactly that reason, which is stated on every page that carries the link.
What the content does
- Explains one concept per page in language that assumes no prior computing background.
- Links to the Australian government service that handles the question when it turns out to be a consumer question rather than a product question: ACCC, Scamwatch, eSafety, OAIC.
- Says so when the vendor's own material is silent, instead of filling the gap.
What it does not do
- Run a laboratory. No detection scores, no benchmark figures, no performance measurements are published, because none are measured.
- Publish prices, because security pricing changes constantly by promotion and region.
- Publish reader reviews or testimonials, because none can be verified here.
- Sell software, take payments, or provide technical support.
