Corrections

We get things wrong. When we do, we fix it in the open: the earlier version is noted, the correction is dated, and the change is logged on the affected page. To report an error, email info@centricworks.online with the page, the passage and, if you have one, a source.

Independence

No advertiser has read, approved or paid for the wording of any article on this site. The one product with a paid arrangement — TotalAV — is covered in depth for exactly that reason, which is disclosed on every page that carries the link. If we were to cease being independent — if a vendor acquired an interest in us, or paid for placement — we would say so at the top of the affected pages.

What we refuse to publish

• Detection scores or benchmark figures we did not measure.
• Prices, because they change constantly by promotion and region.
• Reader reviews or testimonials we cannot verify.
• Any claim of a guaranteed result.

Hidden advertising

Every link that can earn us money is visibly labelled "Paid link" and marked rel="sponsored nofollow noopener". A link without that label is not a commercial link.
